Basketball Recap: Aiden Neer's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Northeastern over Cedarville

Northeastern lost against Cedarville back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Northeastern Jets fell 60-52 to the Cedarville Indians.

Several Jets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aiden Neer, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 17 points. The game was Neer's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Rhett Lough, who went 5 for 9 en route to 14 points and seven boards.

Northeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Cedarville, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Northeastern has already played their next match, a 72-33 loss against Fairbanks on the 24th. As for Cedarville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 48-31 victory against Greeneview on the 24th.
