Soccer Game Preview: West Jordan vs. Kearns

The West Jordan Jaguars will head out on the road to take on the Kearns Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Jordan has given up an average of 3.8 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Two weeks ago, West Jordan came up short against Taylorsville and fell 5-3. The loss continues a trend for West Jordan in their meetings with Taylorsville: they've now lost four in a row.

West Jordan hit Taylorsville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tyler Richardson, Max Sloan, and Chase Brock.

Meanwhile, Kearns managed to keep up with Granger until halftime last Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cougars lost 5-0 to the Lancers.

West Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Kearns, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.

West Jordan couldn't quite get it done against Kearns in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Jaguars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
