Baseball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Calvary Christian Academy won against Halifax Academy last Thursday with 19 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Lions beat the Knights by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 19-3. With that victory, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Calvary Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Luke Colonno, who scored four runs and stole six bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those six stolen bases gave Colonno a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Baer Lampe, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Calvary Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .733. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Calvary Christian Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games.
