Basketball Recap: Marshalltown Comes Up Short

Marshalltown was the 56-31 winner over Fort Dodge when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Marshalltown Bobcats fell to the Fort Dodge Dodgers 58-52. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marshalltown's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Fort Dodge, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.

Marshalltown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-54 victory against Waterloo East on the 30th. As for Fort Dodge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 72-44 defeat against Ames on the 31st.
