Basketball Game Preview: New Life Camp Storm vs. Cresset Christian Academy Eagles

The New Life Camp Storm will face off against the Cresset Christian Academy Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. New Life Camp is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.6 points per game this season.

Last Saturday, New Life Camp ended up a good deal behind Chatham HomeSchool and lost 62-46.

New Life Camp's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Caroline Brown, who went 6 of 13 en route to 19 points and eight boards, and Leah McKinney, who went 6 for 10 on her way to 14 points and eight rebounds. That's the most rebounds McKinney has posted since back in January of 2024.

Meanwhile, Cresset Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They secured a 44-39 W over the Lions.

Cresset Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Trinity Jefferson, who posted 18 points. The matchup was Jefferson's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jada Bryant, who had 11 points.

Cresset Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. As for New Life Camp, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
