Basketball Recap: Cranston East's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak at Home

Cranston East won the last time they faced Mt. Hope and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cranston East Thunderbolts had just enough and edged the Mt. Hope Huskies out 54-51. That's two games straight that the Thunderbolts have won by exactly three points.

Cranston East's victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cranston East will welcome Classical at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Cranston East has insisted on making their lastthree contests (dating back to last season) complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests. Mt. Hope will take on Central Falls in a holiday battle at at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
