Basketball Recap: Damien's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

Damien lost against St. John Bosco back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Damien Spartans took a 46-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. John Bosco Braves. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

It was another big night for Chris Komin, who posted 15 points for St. John Bosco. Another player making a difference was Christian Collins, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Damien (ranked 30th) will meet San Gabriel Academy (ranked 383rd) at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, St. John Bosco will face off against Orange Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday up 85 places (10 vs. 95).
