Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Ottawa-Glandorf's Tenth in Last 11 Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shawnee, Ottawa-Glandorf was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Fostoria Redmen with a sharp 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ottawa-Glandorf took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-10, 25-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ottawa-Glandorf to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addyson Bellman, who had ten aces and three digs. Bellman has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 51 times she's played. Greta Liebrecht also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Ottawa-Glandorf is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Fostoria, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.

Looking ahead, Ottawa-Glandorf will face off against Bluffton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fostoria does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
