Basketball Recap: Sheridan Comes Up Short

Sheridan has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost 74-53 to the Hot Springs Trojans on Tuesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-46 back in December of 2024.

Sheridan's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Hot Springs, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

Sheridan will host Pine Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hot Springs, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lake Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th.
