Volleyball Recap: Goodland Cowboys vs. Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks

Goodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell just short of the Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks by a score of 2-1. While the Cowboys didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Thunderhawks 25-23 in the first period.

Goodland will take on Hitchcock County on Tuesday. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Norton on the 5th.
