Baseball Recap: Millbrook Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ellenville last Tuesday, Millbrook came back down to earth. The Blazers fell 5-1 to the Pine Plains Bombers on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Blazers in their meetings with the Bombers: they've now lost four in a row.

Millbrook saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Murphy, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Millbrook's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Pine Plains, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Looking ahead, Millbrook will be playing in front of their home fans against Spackenkill at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pine Plains, they will venture away from home to square off against Highland at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
