Basketball Recap: Brandeis Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Brandeis had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were dealt a 68-28 loss at the hands of the Warren Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Broncos have suffered since January 3rd.

Despite the loss, Brandeis still got an impressive performance from Peyton Pierson, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.

Trinity Dixon was a one-woman wrecking crew For Warren. as she shot 62% from the field en route to 17 points along with six boards and five assists. T'Anna Evans was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals.

Looking ahead, Brandeis will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Harlan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warren, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
