Soccer Recap: Maret Comes Up Short

Maret was the 1-0 winner over Holton-Arms when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Frogs fell 4-2 to Holton-Arms on Thursday. Maret have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lilla Speth and Nina Jones scored both of Maret's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Maret's loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Holton-Arms, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Maret will challenge rival Sidwell Friends at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Holton-Arms is set to take on their familiar foe Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart at 4:15 p.m. on the 30th.
