Football Recap: Sutherland Takes a Loss

Sutherland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 48-0 defeat at the hands of the Dundy County-Stratton Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Sailors have lost by exactly 48 points.

Sutherland's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Dundy County-Stratton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Sutherland and Dundy County-Stratton will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Sailors will take on rival Morrill on the 19th. Meanwhile, Dundy County-Stratton is set to square off against their familiar foe Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th.
