Tayvion Jones and Max Mattingly secure win for Lyman

Recap: Lyman Greyhounds vs. New Smyrna Beach Barracudas
With a playoff game on the line, the Lyman Greyhounds rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Barracudas 40-37. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lyman.
Lyman was led to victory by Tayvion Jones and Max Mattingly. Jones scored nine points along with five assists and three steals, while Mattingly dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Mattingly is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games he's played.
Lyman has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-17 record this season. As for New Smyrna Beach, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-6.
Lyman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-53 loss vs. Lake Howell on the 8th. New Smyrna Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
