Baseball Recap: Biggs Triumphs

Biggs won against Williams on Tuesday with 21 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Wolverines beat the Lindhurst Blazers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 21-1. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Blazers: they've now won six in a row.

Jaiden Bandy made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Biggs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 23 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2025.

Biggs' record now sits at 13-2. As for Lindhurst, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-14.

Biggs and Lindhurst will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Wolverines see the field they'll take on Pierce at 4:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Lindhurst, their break will end when they face Highlands at 4:00 p.m. on the 14th.
