Softball Recap: Northwestern Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northwestern can now relate to. They lost 16-0 to the Shawnee Braves on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Braves: they've now lost five in a row.

Northwestern saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Hager, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Shawnee, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 25-3.

As of now, neither Northwestern nor the Braves have any future games scheduled.
