Baseball Recap: Freedom Patriots vs. Parkland Trojans
After losing to Parkland the last time they met, Freedom decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Freedom walked away with a 6-1 victory over Parkland on Thursday. The game was the first time the Patriots have beaten the Trojans on their field since May 30, 2018.
Chase Walker tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ryan Kullman, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Santiago Rodriguez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
