The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2020.

Tyniah Johnson paced Caldwell's offense, picking up ten kills. Johnson got some help from
Lydia Giese and her 13 assists. Giese was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
Shelby Hollywood was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs.
Caldwell moved to 17-31 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Salado, they pushed their record up to 38-7 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road.
Caldwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Salado has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Bridge City on the 11th.
