Volleyball Recap: Lemoore Starts Season with Victory at Home

Lemoore took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hanford West Huskies. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lemoore took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11, 25-15.

Noelle Gardner paced Lemoore's offense, picking up 15 kills. Gardner got some help from Hailey Ferreira and her 15 assists. Ferreira also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jade Lewis, racking up four apiece.

Lemoore is headed away from home for the first time to take on El Diamante at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hanford West, they will take on Corcoran at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
