Basketball Game Preview: Armuchee Indians vs. Dade County Wolverines

Armuchee and Dade County are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Armuchee Indians will host the Dade County Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Armuchee is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Armuchee was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-48 to Gordon Lee. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Armuchee's defeat came about despite a quality game from Trenton Cothran, who went 9 of 17 on his way to 26 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Pethel, who posted nine points.

Meanwhile, Dade County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 74-63 to Christian Heritage.

Armuchee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Dade County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Armuchee skirted past Dade County 50-48 when the teams last played back in January. Will Armuchee repeat their success, or does Dade County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
