Basketball Recap: Irondequoit Comes Up Short

Irondequoit lost to Canandaigua Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles came up short against the Gray Wolves, falling 43-19. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Irondequoit has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Canandaigua Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Irondequoit is taking a road trip to take on Brighton at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Canandaigua Academy, they will welcome Our Lady of Mercy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
