With a playoff win on the line, High Point Christian Academy rose to the challenge on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 50-13 victory over the Asheville School (Independent) Blues. The win was just business as usual for the Cougars, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.

Asheville School (Independent) lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Marvyn Larozar, who picked up 77 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 34 yards. Another player making a difference was Jonas Howard, who rushed for 74 yards on only seven carries.

High Point Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Asheville School (Independent), they moved to 7-3-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither High Point Christian Academy nor the Blues have any future games scheduled.
