Volleyball Recap: St. Edward Victorious + How To Watch

St. Edward won the last time they faced Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family and things went their way on Monday too. The Green Wave had just enough and edged out Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Green Wave.

St. Edward had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-19, 25-23.

St. Edward can attribute much of their success to Scarlet Enright, who had 18 digs and seven assists. Those 18 digs gave Enright a new career-high.

St. Edward was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive contests.

St. Edward's victory bumped their record up to 7-18. As for Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-5 record.

St. Edward has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Timothy Christian on the 7th. As for Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family, they will venture away from home to take on Islamic Foundation at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
