Game recap: New Philadelphia High School Football Team wins against Northwest

NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio - After trading leads five times, New Philadelphia (Ohio) snatched the lead for good when they scored a touchdown in the third quarter, paving the way for victory over Northwest (Canal Fulton, Ohio) 34-19.

After trailing 13-12 at the half, the Indians went ahead on a touchdown run by Td Culp with 8:00 remaining in the third.

With the win New Philadelphia extended its winning streak to five games. New Philadelphia defeated East 56-12 last week.

The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which Northwest took, 28-7.

The loss comes after Northwest defeated Woodward 56-0 last week.
