Volleyball Recap: De Pere Gets the Win

De Pere won the last time they faced Little Chute and things went their way on Saturday too. The Redbirds walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mustangs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Redbirds.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant De Pere was: they took both sets by at least 18 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-6.

De Pere can attribute much of their success to Mallory Derenne, who had 15 digs and six assists. That's the most digs Derenne has posted over her last eight matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucetta Dwyer, who had nine assists and seven digs.

De Pere's record now sits at 19-15. As for Little Chute, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-12.

De Pere has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Green Bay Southwest on the 11th. As for Little Chute, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Seymour on the 11th.
