Indian Land strolled into their game  on Friday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding  35-0 victory over the Clover Blue Eagles. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Blue Eagles are ranked 34th).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Indian Land to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Matt Kucia, who threw for 300 yards and four  TDs while completing 87.1% of his passes. Those  300  passing yards gave  Kucia a new career-high. Indian Land's leading receiver  Sequel Patterson was  Kucia's top target yet again, picking up 128 receiving yards and a pair of  scores.
 On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Indian Land's defense and their four sacks.  Jackson Headley was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made seven or more in each of the last three games he's  played.  Michael Foster was another major factor on D,  making 14 total tackles.
Indian Land's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Clover, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Indian Land is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Fort Mill  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Clover will  challenge  rival Nation Ford  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
