Baseball Recap: Conant Takes a Loss

Conant blew Stagg out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Stagg got their revenge. The Cougars fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 4-2. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Richard Pena was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.

Conant's loss dropped their record down to 13-21-1. As for Stagg, their victory ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-26.

Conant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stagg, they will venture away from home to face off against Richards at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
