Basketball Recap: Wheaton Takes a Loss

Wheaton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Southwest Trojans, falling 50-27. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-45 back in December of 2024.

Wheaton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Southwest, they pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wheaton will head out to challenge Hurley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southwest, they will head out on the road to square off against Crane at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
