Volleyball Game Preview: Millbrook Wildcats vs. New Life Camp Storm

The Millbrook Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the New Life Camp Storm at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Millbrook's win against Athens Drive wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Jaguars on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, New Life Camp got the win against St. Mary's on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The Storm haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant New Life Camp was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-12.

Millbrook better keep an eye on Graceyn Shepard. She was instrumental in New Life Camp's win, getting 14 digs and three assists.

Millbrook's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for New Life Camp, their victory bumped their record up to 34-1.
