Borden and Austin are an even 4-4-1 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Braves will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Borden couldn't beat Orleans on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Braves came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 15-5. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Austin lost 20-1 to Evansville Harrison on Saturday.

Austin's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Borden, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Borden got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Austin by a conclusive 6-0 score. Will the Braves repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
