Basketball Recap: Forrest Takes a Loss

Forrest lost against Cascade back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Forrest Rockets took a 49-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cascade Champions.

Cascade got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caroline Parker out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Lizzie Keele was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Forrest's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Cascade, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-11.

Looking ahead, Forrest will take on Fayetteville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cascade, they will square off against Community at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cascade is facing Community at the right time seeing as Community is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
