Yuma Catholic extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping them up to 18-3-1. They never let the ALA - West Foothills Guardians get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Shamrocks have won 12 matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kayla Price was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Yuma Catholic let Kodi Leigh and Faith Donley run wild. Leigh went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI and two runs, while Donley went 4-for-5 with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most hits Donley has posted since back in February. Audrina Payan was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs.

Yuma Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in ten consecutive games.

As for ALA - West Foothills, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4. The contest marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

On ALA - West Foothills' side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madelyn Caines, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Yuma Catholic will face off against rival Kingman at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, ALA - West Foothills is set to challenge their familiar foe Parker at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
