Baseball Recap: Randallstown Takes a Loss

Randallstown fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Parkville on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 4-3. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Randallstown saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Lee, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That run marked the first that Lee scored this season.

Randallstown's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Parkville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Randallstown will take on Eastern Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parkville, they will square off against Lansdowne at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parkville's pitchers better be ready for this one: Lansdowne has averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
