There's no place like home for Fairfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Wawasee Warriors on Monday. That looming 14-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Falcons yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Kinslyn Pressler, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Lilly Yoder was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Fairfield now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Wawasee, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairfield will venture away from home to face off against Churubusco at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wawasee, they are taking a road trip to challenge Columbia City at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
