Paxton's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They really took it to the Creek Valley Storm for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-10 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 22 points or more this season.

Paxton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jakcee Mitchell led the charge by putting up eight points in addition to five boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Ella Fote, who posted five points along with six rebounds and six steals.

Paxton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Paxton now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Creek Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.
