Volleyball Recap: Normangee Takes a Loss

Normangee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Groveton Indians. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Indians from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Normangee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Groveton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Normangee and Groveton will both be playing Brazos the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Cougars at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
