Winning may never get old, but Excel Christian sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Samuel Mills was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off one hit. Mills was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cole Gassen, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances.
