Volleyball Recap: Marquette Find Success + How To Watch

After losing to Woodland the last time they met, Marquette decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crusaders walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors on Thursday.

The victory didn't come easy: Woodland scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18.

Marquette found their leader in sophomore Kinley Rick, who had four digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Hailey Abbott, who had six digs and two aces.

Marquette's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Woodland, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Marquette will look to defend their home court on Friday against Berean Christian at 5:30 p.m. As for Woodland, they will venture away from home to take on Prairie Central at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
