Volleyball Recap: Analy Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Devyn Gray and Sophia Lomanto

Analy lost against Maria Carrillo back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Pumas. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Analy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 20-25, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Analy had strong showings from Sophia Lomanto, who had 20 digs and three aces, and Devyn Gray, who had 14 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Pellini, who had six digs and two aces.

Analy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Maria Carrillo, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Analy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Montgomery on the 18th. As for Maria Carrillo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Healdsburg on the 18th.
