Basketball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland lost against Berryhill back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cleveland Tigers lost to the Berryhill Chiefs at home by a 63-49 margin. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 297th, while the Chiefs are ranked 105th).

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Berryhill, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cleveland will face off against Bristow at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cleveland is facing Bristow at the right time seeing as Bristow is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Berryhill, they will take on Sperry at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sperry will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Berryhill surely won't give up without a fight.
