Baseball Recap: Kings Knights vs. West Clermont Wolves
Kings extended their losing streak to four on Monday, dropping their season record down to 4-6 in the process. They fell 4-0 to the West Clermont Wolves. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
As for West Clermont, the victory got them back to even at 6-6. The game was the first time they have beaten Kings on their field since April 27, 2022.
For West Clermont's part, not much got past Caden Yearwood, who gave up just a hit and racked up 12 Ks to keep Kings off the board. Yearwood also tossed a walk, which is notable because the Wolves are 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-5 otherwise.
