Soccer Recap: Owen Comes Up Short

Owen lost against NCSSM: Morganton back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warhorses fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 2-1. Owen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Owen now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for NCSSM: Morganton, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Owen is set to challenge their familiar foe Avery County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, NCSSM: Morganton will take on rival Draughn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
