Football Game Recap: Central vs. Porter

Porter has been struggling to pick up a win, with their contest against Central on Friday making it four winless games in a row. Porter found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 58-28 punch to the gut against Central. If the Pirates were hoping to take revenge for the 69-28 loss against Central the last time the teams met in October of last year, then they were left disappointed.

Porter's overall record now falls to 3-7. The victory (their seventh in a row) raised Central's record to 7-1.

Porter does not have any more games currently scheduled. As for Central, they will face off against Gore at 7 p.m. ET next week. Those two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
