 Chesterton entered their tilt with Highland with four consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with five. They won by a  run and slipped past the Highland Trojans  3-2. That's more bragging rights for Chesterton, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Caysen Bontrager looked comfortable as he  tossed  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Greg Guernsey, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs and a  triple.
 On Highland's side,  Kyle Stacy was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over 5.2 innings pitched.
 On the hitting side, Highland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Caden VanderMeyden, who  went 2-for-3 with  an  RBI.  Ryan Gordon was another key contributor,  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances with a  stolen base.
