Volleyball Recap: The Classical Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Miranda Campos and Bella Campbell

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact The Classical Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Alamosa Mean Moose by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.

Despite the loss, The Classical Academy had strong showings from Bella Campbell, who had 17 digs and one assist, and Miranda Campos, who had seven kills, six digs, and five aces. Campos has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last six times she's played.

Jaelin Garcia was the offensive standout of the match as she had 13 digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

The Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 26-4. As for Alamosa, the win was the 24th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-1.

The Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alamosa, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Eaton on the 15th.
