Baseball Recap: Bristol County Agricultural Chieftains vs. Old Colony RVT Cougars

Bristol County Agricultural extended their losing streak to six on Monday, dropping their season record down to 1-10 in the process. They came up short against the Old Colony RVT Cougars, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 two weeks ago.

As for Old Colony RVT, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-5. Considering they have won seven matches by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

For Old Colony RVT's part, Cole Correia made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave Correia a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
