Softball Game Preview: Junction City Dragons vs. Crossett Eagles

The Junction City Dragons will face off against the Crossett Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Junction City will be strutting in after a victory while Crossett will be coming in after a loss.

Crossett will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Junction City extended their winning streak to three last Tuesday. The Dragons walked away with a 5-2 win over Hampton.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Crossett's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against Warren, falling 14-4.

Caitlyn Lindsey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Taylor, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Junction City's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Crossett, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-5.
