Basketball Game Preview: Darlington Falcons vs. Hartsville Red Foxes

The Darlington Falcons will face off against the Hartsville Red Foxes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Darlington came up short against South Florence and fell 40-30. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Hartsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 75-62 to Crestwood. While losing is never fun, the Red Foxes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 195th, while the Knights are ranked 15th).

Hartsville's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Darlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Darlington was able to grind out a solid victory over Hartsville in their previous matchup back in January, winning 53-44. Will Darlington repeat their success, or does Hartsville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
