Alvin is a perfect 4-0 against Sam Rayburn since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Alvin Yellowjackets will look to defend their home field against the Sam Rayburn Texans at 6:30 p.m. Alvin is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Alvin's offense. They fell just short of Dayton by a score of 1-0 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Sam Rayburn can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They blew past South Houston 31-15. The Texans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Sam Rayburn's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Alvin, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Everything went Alvin's way against Sam Rayburn when the teams last played back in April of 2016, as Alvin made off with a 13-0 victory. Will Alvin repeat their success, or does Sam Rayburn have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
